I was really hoping to become a patient here based on the excellent reviews, but unfortunately I couldn't get past the receptionist. Before calling, I checked the clinic's website and confirmed that UnitedHealthcare (UHC) was listed as accepted insurance. I also verified that the practice was in my insurance network. After being on hold for several minutes, the receptionist asked which specific UHC plan I had and immediately said they didn't accept it. When I explained that both their website and my insurance network showed otherwise, she simply repeated that they didn't accept it. She didn't offer to verify my insurance information or try to look it up in their system. I ended the call confused by the conflicting information and disappointed that she wouldn't take the extra step to get my info and just verify they truly didn't accept it. I may have missed out on a great doctor because of this. I guess my search for a good physician continues—wish me luck.
