Castilla Glass

Calusa Glass did an outstanding job replacing the large picture window on our stairway landing. This was not a simple installation. We wanted impact-resistant insulated glass without a center separator bar, which required sourcing a commercial-grade window due to the oversized dimensions. Silvio worked hard to locate the right product during a time when material pricing and availability were constantly changing, and the final result was absolutely worth it. The installation itself was also challenging because the crew had to work from an exterior scaffold in a very confined area. The installers were extremely professional, efficient, and clearly experienced. They handled the entire process carefully and confidently from start to finish. In addition to the window installation, they removed and disposed of the old metal shutters, completed the surrounding wall repair work, and even handled touch-up painting around the new window. Everything was cleaned thoroughly before they left — including the glass itself and the surrounding work area. The finished window looks fantastic and completely transformed the stairway space. Excellent workmanship and professionalism all around.

We’ve been working with Calusa Glass Industries for many years, both for installations and maintenance, and we’ve always had a great experience. Their team is very responsive, professional, and attentive, and they are always quick to assist when needed. Highly recommend them for their excellent service and reliability!

Calusa Glass delivered the three C’s, Cost, Communication and Cuality. In February 2022, my wife wanted to put a glass door between the living area and the sleeping areas in our house in order to create a sense of separation. We contacted Calusa Glass to build our 10 ft tall glass door and they did a great job. Silvio sat down with us and really understood what my wife wanted and the look she was going for. He made recommendations that made the piece stand out even more than our original concept. Once he knew what we wanted, he drew it up, had it manufactured, and had his technicians come and install it. Every person who walks into our house comments on how wonderful the door looks and how much class it adds to the house. Then, in December 2023, we called on Calusa glass again to create a 72 inch diameter glass table topper for our wood dinner table. Again, Silvio, took the time to understand what look my wife wanted and delivered a great piece that has garnered only positive comments and will protect the wood beneath it for as long as we have the table. For custom glass, I would only recommend Silvio and Calusa Glass.

Silvio and his team exemplify “above and beyond” customer service. Both pieces (door and mirror) were custom made and I was so grateful for every uneventful step of the project. They delivered at 200%. Can’t thank you enough.

We had a great experience working with Silvio and the team at Calusa Glass. I highly recommend them for any custom glass door project.
